This casa and creekside casita come from a San Franciscan couple – she is a fashion industry alumnus and he is a librarian/mixologist – who both love travel, art and design. In particular, they love lazy Sundays and wanted each of their properties to unlock that carefree, languid feeling.
Their penchant is fully realized on this two-acre playground in the heart of Sonoma wine country, dotted with hammocks, swings and daybeds.

Password for the WiFi connection named “trentic” is Kolya555. Our landline is the best way to contact people, as cellular coverage is spotty. The number is 707-833-1230. Please put the garbage out Thursday night for a Friday morning pickup. The garbage cans are located at the side of Adobe Canyon Rd. The small grey can is for garbage, blue one for recycling. You can use a yellow pull cart parked by the garage to transport the garbage. We are on a septic system, DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. The septic system is very effective; however, it'll clog up if improper material is flushed. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it's found that improper materials have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to $500.00. We are on a well system, the mineral content in the water is high, at certain times the well water might have a slight odor or stain the sink/toilet/bathtub. The water from the special faucet on the kitchen sink is drinkable. Everything else is not. Make sure to keep screen doors and window screens shut at all times to minimize unwanted visitors. The use of the indoor fireplace is not permitted. NO BURNING OF WOOD in the fire pit by the pool. We are in a high fire risk zone. Please use only plastic cups and plates at the pool. They are located in the lower cabinet to the left of the stove. Please do not try to remove the pool remote. It is very expensive to replace and we will have to charge you if it’s misplaced. The remote and instructions are in the silver mailbox behind the mirror on the master bedroom deck. The pool temperature is pre-programmed and uses solar April thru October. It ranges between 70-85 degrees based on the weather. Please don’t try to increase the heat as it may kick in the propane heater, which is very expensive and we will have to charge you again. If the propane tank gets drained you won't have a working stove, heating or hot water. The pool and the spa lights are pre-programmed and will come on in the evening. Please don’t try to turn it on and off with the remote. Gary the pool guy comes on Thursdays to clean the pool. Joaquin the grounds keeper comes once a week, he doesn't have a set schedule. Please put all pool towels in the laundry room. PLEASE don’t use bath towels at the pool. Please feel free to use the books, DVDs while you are here. Feel free to use the projector and portable screen to watch movies indoors or out. Please respect our neighbors and be aware of the noise level. Especially after 9pm. Sound carries in the canyon. The hillside behind us and open space in front of the cottage is PRIVATE PROPERTY, please don’t hike or walk. In general, please leave the house the way you found it. Don’t worry about washing sheets or towels; we’ll take care of it. Make sure all dishes are washed before you check out. We don’t like to put locks on doors and drawers. Please respect a few “PRIVACY, PLEASE” signs we have throughout the house. PLEASE REMEMBER TO LOCK THE DOORS WHEN YOU LEAVE AND LEAVE THE KEYS WHERE YOU FOUND THEM.
