Facing the Atlantic with stunning views out to sea, this newly renovated house strikes all the right chords of style, sophistication and relaxing escape. Located directly on the oceanfront along some of the most pristine white sand beaches of the central east coast of Florida, the area is an outdoorsy tropical paradise.
Embracing the breezy beach vibe, the house is cool and serene with white on white interiors punctuated by a sleek and chic selection of designer European furnishings and custom detail. Professionally decorated by a Miami design firm, there are furnishings from Poliform along with a few antiques and a pair of classic, vintage swan chairs designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen. A collection of original 'horizon' monotypes completed by the artist over several years between the late 1970's and early 1980's are also featured throughout the house.

The upper floor is illuminated by east facing windows and doors that lead out to the deck lounge and includes the sitting room and an open plan state of the art chefs kitchen and dining area. An origami-inspired staircase custom designed by Process Architecture leads to the three bedrooms below, one of which was designed especially for kids. Stylish, and family friendly, this is an ideal oceanfront vacation destination.

This thirteen mile stretch of the Atlantic coast has all of the hallmarks of a world class tropical vacation destination along with a distinct hometown quality reflected in its charming 19th century Cracker architecture and historic detail.
As the second oldest city in Florida, the historic Flagler Avenue and Canal streets feature several quaint boutiques, galleries, cafes and antique shops with much of the old Florida ambiance well preserved.
Cited as one of "America's Top Small Cities for The Arts," New Smyrna is home to the Atlantic Center for the Arts, an artists-in-residence community, numerous galleries and is host to frequent visual and performing arts shows throughout the year.
Voted one of the "Best Beaches" in America, the house is also less than a mile from the Canaveral National Seashore which offers excellent swimming, bird watching, hiking and more. The longest expanse of pristine shore in Florida, the protected area is unspoiled and offers excellent fishing at nearby Mosquito Lagoon and deep-sea charters from the port. Orlando is an hour east and Spring Break mecca Daytona Beach is fifteen miles north.

We enjoyed our stay and would stay again! The drive was reasonable from Ohio with an overnight stop in Savannah. Relatives used to live in NSB, so it was also somewhat familiar. The hosts were perfectly responsive and helpful. All went smooth on arrival and departure. We absolutely LOVED being able to wake up and walk out to greet the sun and waves on the beach. It was VERY COOL to watch July 4th fireworks on the beach as well. When neighbors got a bit lively near the turtle nests, we felt responsible to guard them. Walking up the beach we counted 40 nests near neighbors' beach houses and even got to see turtle tracks after a momma laid her eggs. The "turtle brigade" was present every day - so interesting to watch! Also during our stay, we saw dolphins or porpoises swimming just off-shore close to the house. A few little concerns others might want to be aware of: The inside staircase is narrow. But my parents, both in their mid-70s, were up and down them like olympic medalists. The very early mornings and after dark, bugs are present and you'll want bug spray for your person. However, being right on the beach more than makes up for this!! Grocery, great restaurants and more are all nearby - So go out and adventure, or do absolutely nothing, like we did. WiFi worked perfectly, so I was able to put in a bit of work each morning and relax the rest of the day. We feel appreciative and grateful to celebrate July 4th on the beach and feel others would love their stay at the beach house too.
Beautiful property - spent almost our entire time on that lovely beachfront deck (although the house itself is also amazing). The owner was very responsive and since we booked almost last minute this was great for us. Great waves on the beach to boogie board (we picked some up at a surf shop nearby)! Keep some bug spray handy as some evenings get nasty sand flies. Be sure to cook some meals from the kitchen with a stunning view of the ocean and watch for dolphin - we saw plenty from the deck about 2-300m from shore.
We absolutely loved our week in this home. The views of the ocean from the kitchen / living room were a dream. Our son loved skim-boarding right down the steps off the deck, and our niece loved working on her tan from the enormous and cozy deck (where we spent most of our time). And we loved the quick walk to JB’s - where we enjoyed local seafood and live music almost every night - highly recommend this low key local spot. We hope to be back again someday soon!
The home, beautifully designed, has a spectacular deck overlooking the ocean and is well equipped with loungers and seating. Inside upscale decor and appliances. Very accommodating hosts. Tall and larger visitors should be aware of a very small circular stairway between floors. We will definitely hope for a possible return visit in the future.
A delightful beachfront property. Being positioned on the beach is amazing. I loved watching the ocean at different times of the day from both the large deck and the open-plan reception and kitchen. The property is furnished in an elegant, modern, pleasing aesthetic yet remains comfortable and relaxing with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. It was a perfect destination for relaxing after spending time at the Orlando theme parks. It is well-positioned for exploring the Canaveral national seashore, visiting the Kennedy Space Centre and the Speedway at Daytona. Alternatively, just sit with a book and watch the pelicans, dolphins and changing light over the ocean.
This was simply the best vacation rental we've ever had (and we travel frequently and have rented many). The home is extremely comfortable, with cool and relaxing spaces, an amazing deck and immediate access to the ocean. It was relaxed and informal enough that I felt comfortable with two young children, but so thoughtful and well-designed it also made me feel relaxed and pampered. Little amenities were much appreciated: Fans in every bedroom, linen duvets, and tons of high-quality beach towels. Excellent kitchen gear and cookware. We hope to be back again next year!
