A 19th-Century Warehouse Brought Back to Life
This centrally located loft is perfect for getting to know Paris. It's also located in a fantastic, converted 19th-century railway warehouse that blends traditional and modern aesthetics with flair.
This spacious apartment is located in central Paris, adjacent to the Gare de l'Est. The building it occupies is a former warehouse dating back to 1850, which sheltered the archives of the SNCF (French National Railway Company). Today, it has been refurbished and converted into apartments. This loft is located on the upper floors and retains much of its original charm, with features like the staircase and the bookcase preserved.
The property is accessed by a private glass elevator which soars alongside one of the biggest vertical gardens in the world. In spite of its central location, the apartment is peaceful in the daytime and at night. An immense teak footbridge, shared by the lofts, serves as a terrace, and is furnished with armchairs, chairs and tables - perfect for dining or just taking in the sun.
The loft is 7m high and split into two levels: second floor and mezzanine. The lower level holds a lounge, open kitchen, bathroom (under the staircase) and toilets. The mezzanine has a bedroom, office, two dressing rooms and a bathroom. The latter faces the plant wall, which guests can watch from the oversized bathtub.

The apartment is located close to the Saint-Martin canal, a popular destination for Parisians and tourists because of its picturesque restaurants and bars. The Gar de l'Est, one of the oldest and largest railway stations in Paris, is just across the road.
The closest museums, the Beaubourg (George Pompidou Museum) and Picasso Museum, are both within easy reach by foot. And the Louvre Museum is only 3km away, an estimated 35 minutes on foot. From there, the Seine and Notre Dame are only a few minutes' walk.

This is an absolute gem! We stayed at Parisian loft for a long weekend and loved everything about it. If you - like us - travel to Paris by train you arrive literally directly at the apartment which is located comfortably just across the street from the Gare de l´ Est. The apartment is located in a backyard that is secured by a gate and only accessible with a code. We felt absolutely safe. The backyard is like an oasis, very quiet and very green. The apartment is a great mixture - very bohemian and stylish and also impeccably looked after. It feels like a - very cool - home and is very well equipped. The balcony is huge and was perfect for a dinner al fresco. Bernard and Emilie live right beside and were always at hand if we needed anything. They are perfect hosts, very kind and extremely helpful. From the apartment you can reach all the main attractions by foot or by one of the many rental bikes that are stationed close by, no need to take the Metro. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!
It was such a lovely stay in Emilie and Bernard's loft. The location is central and yet very quiet. We felt safe at all times and were always supported by the hosts. The loft is unique and inspiring... anytime again!!!

We stayed at Parisian Loft from January 10 - 20. This apartment and the owners, Bernard and Emilie are absolutely fantastic - they are the best hosts we have ever had. The apartment is very very special, a rare find in Paris. It's very airy, quiet, lots of light, beautiful windows with beautiful views and in a wonderful location. There is very good food close by and it's easy to get to all the different tourist spots in Paris. I highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Paris and we hope to be able to stay there again.
Emilie & Bernard's loft is absolutely lovely. The loft itself is stunning and comfortable. My wife and I found it a perfect place to stay while exploring Paris. Emilie & Bernard were gracious hosts with great recommendations. We highly recommend staying here.
We stayed for 2,5 weeks at this amazing place. Like an oasis in the city. You hear the birds. You walk at and you are immediately in the vibrant feeling of a very diverse neighborhood with all kinds of shops, bars and restaurants, The Loft is styled in a Bohemian way; very cozy and lots of art. Bernard and Emilie are the most wonderful hosts and very kind, We felt at home immediately! This is one of the rare spots in Paris to stay. ENJOY !
